Disconnect exhaust pipe from right exhaust manifold, then disconnect engine mounts and raise front of engine as much as possible.
CAUTION:
Do not let distributor touch cowl or fan blades touch shroud.
Remove crossover pipe, starter, and oil pan (rotate crankshaft for clearance).
