Studs that have damaged threads or are loose in head should be replaced. Studs are available in.001".003" or.013" oversize. Ream hole for oversize studs and coat press fit area of stud with hypoid axle lubricant.
CAUTION:
Do not attempt to install oversize studs without reaming stud hole.
