Removal Procedure

2013 Cadillac CTS V, 2D Coupe, Automatic TransSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Place the window in the full up position.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) , Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) .
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Disconnect the latch cylinder rod from the door latch, if equipped.
  5. Remove the front side door latch cover.

  7. Remove the inside handle cable from the retainers (1).
  8. Remove the door latch screws (3).
  9. Remove the door latch from the door with the inside door handle cable.

  11. Use a small flat bladed tool to lift the electrical connector lock (2) and disconnect the electrical connector .
  12. Remove the handle cable from the door latch.
