If the electronic brake control module (EBCM) is replaced or needs reprogrammed, the following procedures must be performed:
- EBCM Reprogramming-Refer to Service Programming System (SPS)Β .
NOTE:
The vehicle must be at least 35Β° (1.6Β° C) or warmer before performing the set up procedures below. Use a contact thermometer or an infrared temperature gun to measure the temperature of the EHCU. The EBCM Relearn procedure should not be performed if the ECHU temp is below 35Β° degrees F (1.6Β° C) and the brake pedal should remain in the rest position, brakes not applied.
