Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Place the rear door window in the full down position.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door inner sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .

Procedure

  1. Use a plastic flat-bladed tool to assist in releasing the window weatherstrip from the door frame.
  2. Carefully pull the window weatherstrip from the door flange.
