Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Power)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Position the rear door window approximately half way down in the door.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Wheelbase) , Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Standard Wheelbase) .
  4. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1 Rear Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 5)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving.
  2. Loosen the 2 bolts that attach the window to the window regulator.

TightenΒ 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
2 Rear Side Door Window Regulator
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Transfer the power window motor to the new regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor ReplacementΒ .
