Removal Procedure
2007 Cadillac XLR VSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the retainer screws from the back of the upper trim panel.
- Remove the upper trim from the door.
- Remove the inner energy absorber from the door panel.
- Remove 4 retaining screws from the rear of the armrest.
- Remove 1 retaining screw from the forward end of the armrest assembly.
- Disconnect the armrest wire harness and remove the armrest assembly.
IMPORTANT:
When removing the power mirror switch, place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
