Installation Procedure
2007 Cadillac XLR BaseSECTION Installation Procedure
- Position the wiper drive system module to the vehicle.
- Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
- Install the wiper drive system module into the plenum.
- Install the wiper drive system module screws (1).
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Using the J 39529 , connect the wiper transmission to the wiper motor crank arm.
- Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
- Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
NOTE:

IMPORTANT:
If the washer fluid line is pulled upwards at the air inlet grill during service, this could cause interference between the line and the wiper system. The fluid line may have to be repositioned by removing the access panel at the lower rear of the wheelhouse.
