Removal Procedure
2006 Cadillac SRX 4.6 A, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure
- Remove the adjustable brake pedal from the vehicle. Refer to Brake Pedal Assembly Replacement (With Adjustable Pedals)Β .
- Remove the adjustable brake pedal cable from the motor. In order to release the adjustable brake pedal cable from the adjustable brake pedal motor carefully squeeze the collar of the cable and pull outward from the motor.
- In order to remove the adjustable brake pedal cable from the brake pedal assembly carefully lift the retaining tabs (1) on the cable end using 2 thin bladed tools.
- Carefully pull upward remove the adjustable brake pedal cable assembly from the brake pedal assembly.
