With an assistant, align the marks on the liftgate with the liftgate hinges.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

With an assistant, install the liftgate hinge bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the liftgate struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate .
Install the washer hose to the wiper motor assembly.
Install the wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear in Wipers/Washer Systems.
Install the liftgate wiring harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - Liftgate .
Install the liftgate applique. Refer to Liftgate Applique Replacement .
Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (w/o TB5) or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (w/TB5) .
Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear in Wipers/Washer Systems.
