Installation Procedure
2006 Cadillac SRX 4.6 A, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure
- With an assistant, align the marks on the liftgate with the liftgate hinges.
- With an assistant, install the liftgate hinge bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the hinge bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the liftgate struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - LiftgateΒ .
- Install the washer hose to the wiper motor assembly.
- Install the wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear in Wipers/Washer Systems.
- Install the liftgate wiring harness. Refer to Wiring Harness Replacement - LiftgateΒ .
- Install the liftgate applique. Refer to Liftgate Applique ReplacementΒ .
- Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (w/o TB5)Β or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (w/TB5)Β .
- Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear in Wipers/Washer Systems.
