2006 Cadillac SRX 4.6 A, AWDSECTION Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 1:  Determines if the malfunction is present.
  2. 2:  Determines if the malfunction was due to no map DVD in the navigation radio DVD player.

1  Did you perform Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information

IMPORTANT: The CD installed must be a map DVD as defined for this system.
  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTC.
  2. Turn the ignition ON with the engine OFF.
  3. Install a correct map DVD into the navigation radio.
Does the DTC reset?		 Go to Step 3  Go to Step 4 
3 Replace the navigation radio. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems.
Did you complete the repair?		 Go to Step 4  -

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTC.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text.
Does the DTC reset?		 Go to Step 2  System OK
