ESCM Replacement
2006 Cadillac SRX 4.6 A, AWDSECTION ESCM Replacement
If the electronic suspension control module (ESCM) is replaced, the procedures must be perform in the following order:
- The ESCM programming, refer to Service Programming System (SPS)Β .
- The bump stop setup procedure. To perform this procedure, lift the vehicle just off the ground to fully extend the suspension. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle, turn ignition ON with the engine OFF, and follow the on screen instructions in ESC Special Functions.
- The trimset procedure. Connect the scan tool to the vehicle, turn ignition ON with the engine OFF, and follow the on screen instruction in the ESC Special functions.
IMPORTANT:
The vehicle must be at correct trim height and on a level surface before performing trimset procedure. Refer to Trim Height Inspection Procedure
