BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) PROGRAMMING/RPO CONFIGURATION (RIM)

GENERAL INFORMATION TO SET UP A REAR INTEGRATION MODULE (RIM)
Before setting up any option ensure the following:
- Ensure the scan tool has been updated with the latest software version.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Ensure all modules on the serial data line are connected.

SETTING OPTIONS
Select "Set Options" under the DIM special functions menu, and follow the Tech 2 on-screen instructions. The following options need to be set, when the RIM is replaced:
- Intrusion Sensor Part A
- Intrusion Sensor Part B
- Inclination Sensor Part A
- Inclination Sensor Part B
- Alarm Siren Module Part A
- Alarm Siren Module Part B

IMPORTANT: After programming, perform the following to avoid future misdiagnosis:
1. Turn the ignition OFF for 10 seconds.
2. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector.
3. Turn the ignition ON with the engine OFF.
4. Use the scan tool in order to retrieve history DTCs from all modules.
5. Clear all history DTCs.
