Ignition Control Module Replacement (Assembly)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the spark plug wires at the ignition control module assembly.
2. Remove the four electrical connectors at the ignition control module.

3. Remove the four bolts (4 and 8) retaining the IC module assembly to rear camshaft cover (5).
4. Remove the IC module assembly from the vehicle.
5. Remove the ignition coils from the IC module assembly (1, 2, 3, and 7).
6. Remove the IC module from the assembly bracket (6).
Installation Procedure

1. Install the IC module to the assembly bracket (6).
2. Install the ignition coils to the IC module assembly.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Position the IC module assembly on the rear camshaft cover and install the four retaining bolts (4 and 8).
Tighten the 4 retaining bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
4. Install the four electrical connectors at the IC module assembly.
