DTC PZ2719, UTD - Trunk Tamper Switch Fault: Testing
1996 Cadillac Seville STSSECTION Testing
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect PZM connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between PZM connector terminal A3 and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace PZM. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step.
- Disconnect trunk tamper switch connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between trunk tamper switch connector terminal "A" and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace trunk tamper switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, repair short to ground in trunk tamper input circuit between trunk tamper switch and PZM.
