DTC PZ2719, UTD - Trunk Tamper Switch Fault: Testing

1996 Cadillac Seville STSSECTION Testing
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect PZM connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between PZM connector terminal A3 and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace PZM. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect trunk tamper switch connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance between trunk tamper switch connector terminal "A" and ground. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, replace trunk tamper switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, repair short to ground in trunk tamper input circuit between trunk tamper switch and PZM.
