A/C Low Pressure Switch
1996 Cadillac Eldorado V8-4.6L VIN 9SECTION A/C Low Pressure Switch
The low-pressure switch is located on the low-side refrigerant line running along the engine compartment rear bulkhead, just above the evaporator case. It is mounted on a Schrader valve, therefore, the system does not have to be discharged to remove the switch.
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Switch electrical connector.
3. Switch by unscrewing from the refrigerant line.
Install or Connect
1. Low-pressure switch to refrigerant line.
2. Electrical connector to switch.
3. Negative battery cable.
