Throttle Position Sensor:






REMOVAL OR INSTALL
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the two Throttle Position (TP) sensor attaching screws and retainers.
- Remove the TP sensor.
- TP sensor seal.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
- TP sensor and seal.
- TP attaching screws and retainers.
- Torque TP sensor to 2.0 Nm (18.0 in lb)
- Electrical connector.
- Air cleaner assembly.

If a NEW sensor is being installed, a "learn" procedure must be performed. Refer to Throttle Position Sensor Idle Learn Procedure. Idle Learn Procedure
