- With the ignition switch at RUN and the gear selector lever at PARK, operate the entire seat, front height and rear height control switches. The normal result is when the Left seat moves as commanded. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT SWITCH POWER (W/ SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS.
- Press the SET memory switch and press the MEMORY select switch toward position 1. The normal result is when the new seat position is stored in MEMORY 1. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check Seat Control Assembly Connectors C1, C2 and C3.
- Operate the entire seat, front height and rear height control switches. The normal result is when the Left seat moves as commanded. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check Seat Control Assembly Connectors C1, C2 and C3.
- Press the SET memory switch and press the MEMORY select switch toward position 2. The normal result is when the new seat position is stored in MEMORY 2. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check Seat Control Assembly Connectors C1, C2 and C3.
- Press the MEMORY select switch toward position 1. The normal result is when the Left seat automatically returns to the position moved to in step 1. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check Seat Control Assembly Connectors C1, C2 and C3.
- Press the MEMORY select switch toward position 2. The normal result is when the Left seat automatically returns to the position moved to in step 3. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check the Seat Control Assembly Connectors C2 and C3.
- Move the gear selector lever to any position other than PARK. Press the MEMORY select switch toward position 1. The normal result is when the Left seat does not move. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; the check the Seat Control Assembly Connector C3, pin D.
- Put the gear selector lever at PARK. Press the EXIT switch. The normal result is when the Left seat moves all the way back and down. For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS; then check the Seat Control Assembly Connector C3, pins A, B and D.
- Set MEMORY position 1 full-forward with the rear and front height full-up. Cycle between MEMORY 1 and EXIT repeatedly. The normal result is when the seat moves between full-forward/up and EXIT position (full back/down position). For diagnosis, go to MEMORY SEAT MOTOR ISOLATION (W/SIXTY SPECIAL SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS.
- If the results are abnormal, go to SYMPTOM INDEX under SYSTEM TESTS.
