Oxygen Sensor - Left And Right:








PRECAUTIONS
^ The oxygen sensor has a permanently attached wire and connector. This should not be removed, since removal will affect proper operation of the oxygen sensor.
^ The oxygen sensor may be difficult to remove when engine temperature is below 120°F. Use caution, since excessive force may damage threads in exhaust manifold or pipe.
^ If old sensor is being reused, coat threads with anti-seize compound, then install into manifold or pipe.



REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
- Raise vehicle and support.
- Support rear of powertrain frame.
- Four frame bolts (#2 and #3 locations).
- Lower frame no more than 3 inches.
- Rear O2 sensor connector.
- Rear O2 sensor at rear exhaust manifold.



INSTALL OR CONNECT
- Rear O2 sensor at rear exhaust manifold.
- Torque O2 sensor to 41 N-m (30 lbs. ft.)
- Rear O2 sensor connector.
- Raise frame.
- Four frame bolts (#2 and #3 locations).
- Torque bolts to 100 N-m (74 lbs. ft.)
- Lower vehicle.
