NOTE:
The passenger air bag ON and OFF indicators may not operate as expected if there are supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) DTCs. Repair all SIR DTCs before proceeding with this diagnostic.
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the Passenger Air Bag On Indicator and Passenger Air Bag Off Indicators turn On and Off when commanded On and Off with a scan tool.
- If the passenger air bag indicators do not change
Refer to Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the passenger air bag indicators change
- If the passenger air bag indicators do not change
- All OK.
