Circuit/System Testing

2013 Buick Regal Turbo Premium, Standard TransSECTION Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, radio OFF, radio B+ fuse removed, disconnect the X3 connector at the T3 audio amplifier.
  2. Reinstall the radio B+ fuse. Ignition ON, radio ON, verify that DTC B1265 is NOT set as current.
    • If DTC B1265 is set as current, test the entertainment remote enable circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal replace the A11 radio.
  3. Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the entertainment remote enable circuit Audio Amplifier X3 terminal 13 and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the entertainment remote enable circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal replace the Radio.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the T3 audio amplifier.
