Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
1 Stabilizer Shaft

Procedure

  1. Support the front cradle with the proper jackstand's.
  2. Remove the stabilizer links from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove rear transmission bolt. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement .
  4. Lower the rear front cradle to gain enough clearance to remove the stabilizer shaft insulators. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement .
  5. Note the orientation of the stabilizer shaft insulators and remove. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Insulator ReplacementΒ .
