Preliminary Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
1 Body Harness Ground Fastener
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  9 N.m (80 lb in)

2 Battery Current Sensor Connector
3 Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Nut
Tip:Β  Slide negative battery cable through current sensor.

Tighten:Β  25 N.m (18 lb ft)
