Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement (LAF)
1 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (89 lb in).

2 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Nut (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve
Procedure:Β 
Disconnect the electrical connector.
4 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Gasket
