The replacement of some components will require a setup procedure for complete repair. The SDM Setup Procedure must be performed if any of the following components are replaced:
- SDM
- BCM
- Connect a scan tool to the vehicle and access SPS. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS)Β .
- Perform the SPS function Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Setup and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Clear any DTCs after completing the Setup procedure.
