Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Remove the battery negative extension cable fastener (1) and terminal (2) from the left front frame rail.
- Remove the battery negative extension cable ground fastener (1) and remove the battery negative extension cable terminal (2).
- Remove the battery negative extension cable (1) from the battery positive and negative cable conduit (2).
- Remove the battery negative cable extension from the front engine compartment.
