Component Testing
2013 Buick Regal Turbo Premium, Standard TransSECTION Component Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 7 and the ground circuit terminal 2 with the switch in the open position.
- If less than infinite resistance
Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
- If infinite resistance
- If less than infinite resistance
- Test for less than 2 Ω between the signal circuit terminal 7 and the ground circuit terminal 2 with the switch in the closed position.
- If 2 Ω or greater
Replace the S48D Multifunction Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
- If less than 2 Ω
- If 2 Ω or greater
- All OK.
