CONDITION/CONCERN
Customers may state that while using the OnStar Turn-By-Turn Navigation (TBT) the system responds in miles instead of kilometers (or vice versa).
RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS
This setting can be changed by pressing the phone button on the OnStar keypad to access OnStar voice recognition and say "English-Metric Setting" as described in the OnStar owner's manual.
A Turn by Turn route must be downloaded to the vehicle in order to access this feature and change the current setting in the vehicle.
For Global A vehicles, the language can be changed through the DIC settings to change English-Metric settings for TBT operation.
