Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the left rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia with TB5) , Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse with TB5) , Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Traverse with TB4) , Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave with TB5) , Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Acadia with TB4) , Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement (Enclave with TB4) .
  2. Remove the liftgate actuator (if equipped). Refer to Liftgate Actuator Replacement .
1 Communication Interface Module Bracket

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the body harness from the bracket as required.
  2. Loosen the bracket fasteners to remove the bracket from the slotted holes.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
