Removal Procedure
2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26) .
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6 L (LY7).
- Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator outlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (3.8L) or Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (3.6L) .
- Remove the radiator outlet pipe bracket to transmission retaining bolt (3).
- Remove the radiator outlet pipe bracket to thermostat housing retaining bolt (1).
- Remove the radiator outlet pipe from the thermostat housing.
- Remove the radiator outlet pipe O-ring from the radiator outlet pipe.
IMPORTANT:
Install a new O-ring to the radiator outlet pipe.
