2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7)Β  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26)Β .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6 L (LY7).
  3. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator outlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (3.8L)Β  or Radiator Hose Replacement - Outlet (3.6L)Β .
  4. Remove the radiator outlet pipe bracket to transmission retaining bolt (3).
  5. Remove the radiator outlet pipe bracket to thermostat housing retaining bolt (1).
  6. Remove the radiator outlet pipe from the thermostat housing.
  7. IMPORTANT: Install a new O-ring to the radiator outlet pipe.
  8. Remove the radiator outlet pipe O-ring from the radiator outlet pipe.
