Installation Procedure
2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and 2007 Chevrolet Impala. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Position the starter motor to the engine.
- Install the starter bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Connect the starter motor electrical connector (1).
- Install the engine harness terminal (4) to the starter motor.
- Install the positive battery cable (2) and the starter solenoid BAT terminal nut (3) to the starter motor.
Tighten: Tighten the solenoid BAT terminal nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPO LS4) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ9) .
