Installation Procedure
2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the fuel feed line.
- Connect the fuel feed (3) and EVAP (4) lines to the fuel tank lines (1, 2). Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar)Β .
- Install the fuel feed line to the retainer.
- Close the fuel/brake line retainer (1).
- Install the fuel feed line to the retainer.NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
- Install the fuel/brake line retainer bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the fuel feed line to the retainer.
- Install the fuel/brake line push in retainer to the underbody.
- Install the fuel feed line to the retainer.
- Install the fuel/brake line retainer bolt.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the fuel feed line to the fuel/brake pipe retainers (1).
- Close the fuel/brake pipe retainers (1).
- Connect the fuel feed line (1) to the fuel rail. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Metal Collar)Β .
- Position and install the brake master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Replacement .
- Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
- Install the fuel fill cap.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ9) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPO LS4) .
- Perform the following steps to inspect for leaks:
- Turn ON the ignition for 2 seconds.
- turn OFF the ignition for 10 seconds.
- Turn ON the ignition.
- Inspect the system for leaks.
- Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
