2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower air cleaner housing by pushing the housing down, into the 2 rubber grommets on the inner rail.
  2. Install the TCM and the harness to the lower air cleaner housing.
  3. Install the PCM and the harness to the lower air cleaner housing.

  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the air cleaner assembly.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  6. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the air cleaner assembly.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  7. Install the upper air cleaner housing to the lower housing. Engage the tabs on the upper housing to the slots on the lower housing.
  8. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.

  10. Connect the PCV tube to the air inlet duct. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar)Β .
  11. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body.
  12. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  13. Install the left inner fender brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Front Fender Upper Diagonal .
