- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- When enabling the SIS proceed to step 3, if the roof rail module needs enabling then go to step 7.
- Install the right SIS connector (3) to the SIS (1).
- Install the SIS CPA to the SIS connector (3).
- Replace and secure the water deflector back over the SIS.
- Install the right/passenger door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door in Doors.
- Connect the right roof rail module wiring harness yellow connector (2) to the right roof rail module (3).
- Install the CPA to the right roof rail module connector (2).
- Install the right rear panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper in Interior Trim.
- Install the SIR Fuse.
- Close the underhood fuse center cover.
- Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.
- Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information.
