Enabling Procedure

2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Enabling Procedure

  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.

  3. Connect the I/P module yellow connector (1) to the vehicle harness yellow connector (2).
  4. Install the CPA to the I/P module yellow connector (1).
  5. Install the right sound insulator to the I/P (3). Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  7. Install the SIR Fuse.
  8. Close the underhood fuse center cover.
  9. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.

  10. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information.
