- Install the battery heat shield. Refer to CELL LINKΒ .
- Install the battery into the vehicle.
- Install the battery retainer and bolt.
Tighten:Β Tighten the battery retainer bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Connect the battery positive cable to the battery.
Tighten:Β Tighten the battery cable bolt to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (L26)Β or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LY7)Β .
