2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front seat into the vehicle.
  2. Engage the front seat hook attachments.
  3. Tip the seat forward, connect the pretensioner electric connector (1) and insert the position assurance pin (2).
  4. Connect the electrical body harness to the seat.
  5. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the adjuster to floorpan bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  8. Install the seat belt and nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  9. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front SeatΒ .
  10. Inspect the front seat for proper operation.
  11. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 .
