2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Removal Procedure

NOTE: Use care when handling the coolant sensor. Damage to the coolant sensor will affect the operation of the fuel control system.
  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill) in Engine Cooling.
  2. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector.

  4. Remove the ECT sensor.
