Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the hood hinge. Refer to Hood Hinge Replacement .
  2. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front .
  3. Remove the headlamp.
  4. Remove the antenna on passenger fender. Refer to Fixed Antenna Replacement .
1 Bolt, Front Fender Upper (Qty: 4)

Tighten:  8 N.m (71 lb in)

2 Bolt, Front Fender Rear (Qty: 3)

Tighten:  8 N.m (71 lb in)

3 Bolt, Front Fender Lower Rear
Tip:  Reposition the rocker panel molding to gain access to the bolt.

Tighten:  8 N.m (71 lb in)

4 Bolt, Front Fender Lower Front

Tighten:  8 N.m (71 lb in)

5 Bolt, Front Fender Upper Front

Tighten:  6 N.m (53 lb in)

6 Nut, Front Fender Front Lower Bracket (Qty: 2)
Tip:  Loosen the nut enough to allow the fender to slide out of the slots.

Tighten:  6 N.m (53 lb in)

7 Fender Assembly, Front
