2006 Buick Terraza CXL, 3.5 L, AWDSECTION Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2:Β  Clear all DTCs and cycle the ignition in order to verify that the DTC did not falsely set.
  2. 3:Β  Clear all DTCs after the repair procedure is complete.
DTC B1001: Options Configuration Error (Recalibrate)

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With the scan tool, perform the radio setup procedure. Refer to Radio SetupΒ .
  4. Turn OFF the ignition.
  5. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Does the DTC reset?
Go to Step 3Β  System OK
3Β  Replace the radio. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup and programming.
