Rotating the Engine for Service Access: Procedure
2006 Buick Allure CXSSECTION Procedure

- Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.8L.
- Apply the parking brake.
- Put the transaxle in the Neutral position.
- Remove the engine mount struts. Refer to Replacing Engine Mount Bracket - FrontΒ and Replacing Engine Mount - FrontΒ .
- Install the J 41131Β (2) to the engine mount strut bracket (1) and the upper radiator support (3). See Special ToolsΒ .
- Rotate the engine forward for component access.
