Replacing Right Engine Mount Strut Bracket (L26): Installation

  1. Install the upper engine mount strut bracket.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.
  3. Install the upper engine mount strut bracket bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 Ft. Lbs.).

  5. Install the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts.
    • Tighten the lower engine mount strut bracket nut.

      Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 30 N.m (22 Ft. Lbs.).

    • Tighten the lower engine mount strut bracket bolts.

      Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 Ft. Lbs.).

  7. Install the right engine mount strut at the upper engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Replacing Engine Mount Strut - LeftΒ  and Replacing Engine Mount Strut - RightΒ .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (L26) in Engine Electrical.
