Replacing Front Engine Mount: Installation
2006 Buick Allure CXSSECTION Installation

- Position the motor mount on the frame
- Use the jackstand to lower the motor mount bracket on to the motor mount.
- Install the motor mount to frame bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 Ft. Lbs.).
- Install the motor mount to motor mount bracket nuts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the nuts to 47 N.m (35 Ft. Lbs.).
- Install the engine splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE in Body Front End.
- Install the tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
- Lower the vehicle.
