Installing Oil Pan: Installation
2006 Buick Allure CXSSECTION Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Apply a continuous bead 3.0 mm (0.19 in) thick of RTV GM P/N 12378521 (Canadian P/N 88901148), or equivalent to the oil pan flange on the block as well as an additional drop to all four corners of the block where the front and rear covers meet.
- Install the oil pan.
- Clean the oil pan bolts.
- Apply one drop of GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489), to each bolt.
- Install the oil pan bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts to 14 N.m (10 Ft. Lbs.).
