Installing Intake Manifold - Lower (L26): Installation
2006 Buick Allure CXSSECTION Installation
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Clean the lower intake manifold sealing surface using GM P/N 12346139 (Canadian P/N 10953463) or equivalent prior to installing any seals or gaskets.
- Install the lower intake manifold gasket.
- Install the lower intake manifold.
- Apply threadlocker 272 GM P/N 12345493, (Canadian P/N 10953488) or the equivalent to the bolt threads.
- Install the lower intake manifold bolts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts in sequence to 15 N.m (11 Ft. Lbs.).
- Install the generator brace bracket (571).
- Install the generator brace bracket bolts (569, 570).
Tighten:Β Tighten the generator brace bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 Ft. Lbs.).
