Timing Chain Tensioner Installation
1. Install the timing chain tensioner.
2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the timing chain tensioner bolts.
Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the timing chain tensioner guide.
4. Install the timing chain tensioner guide bolts.
Tighten the timing chain tensioner guide bolts to 12 Nm (107 inch lbs.).
5. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe.
6. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe bolt.
Tighten the timing chain tension shoe bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Install the cylinder head access hole plugs.
Tighten the cylinder head access hole plugs to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.).
