Removal Procedure

- Remove the knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Remove the steering column trim covers.
- Disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control connector.
- Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly.
- Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
