Removal Procedure

- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Replacement .
- Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Outlet Pipe Replacement .
- Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe mounting bolt (2) from the exhaust manifold.
- Remove the mounting bolt (2) and the stud (3) from the EGR valve inlet pipe bracket.
- Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe assembly (1).
