Removal Procedure

2005 Buick LeSabre Limited, 4T65E/M15SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear DoorΒ .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear DoorΒ .
  4. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Rear InsideΒ .

  6. Disconnect the outside door handle rod (1) from the door latch by opening the clip (2) on the door latch.

  8. Remove the door latch fasteners.
  9. Remove the door latch with the inside door handle latch and lock rods attached.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  11. Remove the handle and lock rods from the door latch.
