Removal Procedure

2005 Buick LeSabre Limited, 4T65E/M15SECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front DoorΒ .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front DoorΒ .

  5. Remove the door handle fastener (2).

  7. Snap the lock and latch rods out of rod guide.

  9. Slide handle assembly forward to release the retainer tabs (1).

  11. Tilt the handle and remove the rods from the handle in the following sequence:
    1. Lock knob rod (1).
    2. Handle lever rod (2).
